Every quarter, set aside time to reflect about the past three months.

Questions to ask yourself: What do you want to celebrate from the past three months? What worked? What didn’t? What did you learn? Where did you fail? What are you most proud of?

How wonderful would it be to sit down and write your resume with your notes beside you (already complete) capturing all of your accomplishments and learnings over the last few years?

Think about that, rather than trying to remember everything that’s happened (sometimes I can’t remember what happened this morning!) you’ll have it documented for this very task.

Whether it’s pen to paper, notes in your phone or on the computer, taking a moment to write a few thoughts down about your experience and your accomplishments. I promise it will come in handy for resume writing and interviewing.
